Hey there. I'm new here. The names Jimmy. I go by JayTee. I'm fourteen, trans, and in the closet. I'm a female to male. I'm out to some of my friends. So far so good. Life is awkward. Life in the wrong body sucks. I don't suggest anyone do it.

As for sexuality I'm leaning to the asexual side. Like I could fall in love with either gender. I mostly date guys and find guys more sexually attractive however.

So well that's me. Oh I'm from NY. I snowboard in Mass. LOVEE IT. <3

Hey! I'm one of the 'mixed' gender people here at EC. I consider myself bi-gender, it's so confusing, i just dress how i want although i just date girls (both my boy and girl side are gay and i doubt i could find gay guy would date a girl who dresses like a guy and like her for who her soul is.)

But yeah welcome! i'm sure you'll love it here! i'm happy that you're here. This place needs more people like us!

Hi JayTee - welcome to EC!

JayTee could explain it much better I'm sure, but as I understand it a transsexual is a male in a female body or a female in a male body. Once this is diagnosed and accepted (which can be a long process), there are various hormone treatments etc, ultimately leading to one or more sex correction operations to make the body, as close as medically possible, as it should be for the person. From the experiences of a male-to-female transsexual friend, this can take many years and can be a very frustrating process (at least on the National Health Service in the UK).

She (Jo A) is a member here though hasn't been here for a while. There is a good discussion here http://emptyclosets.com/forum/showthread.php?t=618 which may clarify things better than my explanation.

    Yes, definitely!

Ok, so it is like on tv when people switch bodies, and like a girl is put into a boy's body or vice versa??

(Sorry for the crappy reference^^ but thats kinds how i understand it?)

So not trying to be offensive, but are you a girl in a guy's body or the other way around??

This is where the CONFUSED part of sadconfusedbandgeek comes in:wink:

Lawlz. It's okay. Transgender is a term that covers many terms inside it. I would be considered more of a Transsexual. I'm a Female to Male (which means I have the soul of a boy, the body of a girl). Basically being trans is just being in the wrong body. When your mind/soul clash with your bodys physical apperance.

Now just because you may like a few girl things or guy things or whatever doesn't mean you're trans. You'll know it. Everything feels wrong. For me, when I was younger I played with cars and trucks instead of dolls. I never wore dresses or girls clothes. I ran around (before puberty) Shirtless. Third-fourth grade came around I'd tell people I was a boy, but my genetalia was cut off and so forth. Whenever I buy clothes I picture me as a guy. It sucks.

The day Trans becomes a trend is the day I die. XD

Hope this helps! Thanks for the welcomes! =D

Ok sorry! One more question, your orientation says you lean towards gay. Now does that mean gay for your physical appearance. Or gay for your "actual gender"
(Sooo do u like guys or girls) hehehe
    SORRY:S

This is where mixing up Sexuality and Gender comes in play.

Sexuality is Gay, Bisexual, Straight, Asexual, Pansexual, etc.
Sexuality meaning what GENDER you have sex with/ have sexual attraction too.

    Gender is Male, Female, Trans.
Gender is what you feel you are, if you're male or female and has nothing to do with having sex or sexual attraction.

Leaning towards Gay means I like guys more than I do girls.
