    Or, I was up until recently.

    I have recently been gradually coming out as a lesbian to friends and family. It has not been fun in any way. I guess I'm just looking for a place where people know what it's like.

    Anyways, I look forward to getting to know you all.

    I've been told I resemble a kidnapped teen being held in an unfinished basement of terror.

    I'm sure I will enjoy it.

    I noticed that you are 26 and "confused." I am 28 and only in the last year figured out my preference. I wish you clarity and happiness.

    Being out feels better, but it's an ongoing process, and my family (fundamentalist christians) aren't taking it well.
