Before coming out you should evaluate your situation to see whether or not it would be safe for you to come out. The truth is that in worse situations, coming out is not always the best option. Whether you're thinking of coming out to parents or to friends, I would advise you to try bringing up topics related to transgender people in your conversations, and ask for their opinions on the subject. From there you can figure out the best way to come out to them, if at all.

Feel free to post on my wall if you need anything, I'd be happy to help. Good luck!

    Hi AkwardWierdo,

I wanted to mention that is you haven't already checked out these subforums, try the Gender Identity and Expression section and the Coming Out Advice section. There are plenty of posts there that can help you out.

    Hi Hello welcome.
first you should make sure your comfortable with who you are coming out to and that you can trust them. Only come out at your own pace that you are comfortable with. Good luck and I encourage you to check out the coming out sub section for more tips
