Hello everyone! I'm ftm, been grappling with this properly for six months now and addressing it in a more healthy way I think. I have a very close friend who supports me so much - I am so grateful to have him in my life. However as understanding as he is I think it is time I become part of a community, which is why I am here! I'm looking forward to meeting you all, and to sharing experiences with others. I'm 21, pre-t and surgery, still trying very hard (but failing most of the time) to pass. I have a handful of friends who know me as male and use correct name and pronouns. I haven't come out to my family yet (I live away from home, hence how I have started socially transitioning without them knowing). I'm hoping ec will help me build up the courage to do this one day. Actually the first thing that came to mind when I saw your username was Pepper Potts, like the character from Iron Man, but I guess that nickname doesn't work for a guy. Welcome to EC.
