My name is Emily. I'm currently a college student at UCM and have been dealing with a lot of questions and feelings that are new to me. I grew up in a Christian household, so I always heard that homosexuality was wrong and that sexuality is a choice. Now that I'm out in the world and allowed to experience things for myself, I'm starting to have feelings that I used to once believe were wrong. I don't know if I'm gay or not, but I know that I like girls. I know that I like the idea of being with someone of the opposite gender. I've done some experimenting, but it did nothing, but make things more confusing for me. I'm at the point where I just feel like I'm completely alone in my feelings and there is no one I can turn to for answers and that's why I'm here. I looked at a whole bunch of dating sites, but they all seemed so fake and I need something that is real. I need people who are real. People who can help me explore my feelings and explain them to myself, so I can explain them to others. I've been dealing with a lot of depression issues and part of it is because of all these feelings that I'm having that I believed to be wrong for the longest time and I know hat I can't talk to my parents about it and I know that they would never be ok with it and that scares me most of all. I'm just hoping for clarity.

Welcome Don't worry, I've been confused for many years until I realised I was bisexual. Give it time, you don't have to label yourself just yet (or at all).
