Fifth time trying to write this... I am a scared homosexual unable to come out to my friends and family because I feel like I am not ready. I joined this site because I want to have deep conversations with people of the LGBTQ+ community and maybe encourage me to come out of the closet. I look forward to talking with all of you! (&&&)
Hi there, and welcome to the community. Joining Empty Closets is one step towards getting ready in starting to come out to your friends and family. It might take a bit of time before you feel ready to come out, but eventually you will. EC is a safe space. Feel free to ask questions, and talk with other members about their experiences. I'm sure you'll be able to find some inspiration and motivation from exchanging experiences, and reading other members' stories.
I am young but here for any conversations I really hope you find what you are looking for. I also hope you find the courage to come out.

Hey there. Since I joined less than two weeks ago, I have felt like I can be more myself here than anywhere else. And even though I've come out to my own family, it's still going to take time for the new me to become more comfortable in the open. There are many wonderful people here, including myself, lol, who are happy to help or give advice on anything you may need.
