Hi everyone. As my username states, I'm quite the sassy gal, but please call me J. I'm 25, living an average, happy life on the Northeast of the US. I've been lurking here for a week or so now and decided today was the day to join. I've known for years that I wasn't straight but always pushed it out of mind until I was ready and apparently I was ready late last year. At this point, I'm pretty sure [as in I've never been in a relationship] that I'm bisexual and lean a little bit more toward girls. However, nobody from my family or friends know but I won't be surprised if they kind of have inkling about it so I thought this was the perfect space to talk to other people. Hey, Welcome to EC! I'm relatively new here, too! Your situation really sounds a lot like mine, as well. I'm 22 and have only been in hetero relationships so far, but have always felt somehow "different". I've also always been attracted to girls but it took me a while to realise those two things might have something to do with each other. Noone in my family knows about it, too. The fact, that I am with a guy at the moment, doesn't make it any easier. If you ever want to chat, let me know -M

I just joined and I'm still questioning into being middle aged. I must confess I kind of envy people who are sure of their Identity at a young age.
Hi J! Welcome to EC! I hope you like it here. The people here have been very kind and supportive to me, and it was cause of this place i was able to figure out my sexuality finally. Yeah i'm a 'late bloomer' myself. I joined and figured out my sexuality at 25 too haha. I mean i noticed the signs as young as like 6th grade and all through middle school but i just repressed it and explained it away because i thought it was inappropriate and rude and i felt ashamed and embarrassed by it. I had been questioning for a few years prior to joining here, but it wasn't until i joined here that i was able to get the support needed to figure it out for sure.
