Hi, I'm a genderfluid bisexual from the Netherlands in the Amsterdam area. I'm a social worker specialised in refugees and PTSD and am currently working on my Bachelor thesis. I'm politically active in the Socialist Party of the Netherlands and am going to run for city council in my hometown in 2018. Besides that, I've worked as a community organizer in Boston, Massachusetts doing environmental justice for three months. I'm currently out to everyone as bisexual, but only a handful of people know that I'm also genderfluid. I realised that I was bisexual when I was 16 and genderfluid when I was 21, although I had always kind of know, I just couldn't really believe it. Coming out as bisexual was relatively easy for me, as I grew up in a progressive environment, although some of my more religious relatives took a little longer to accept me for who I am. I joined up because lately I've been learning more about genderfluidity, hoping to find out who I am and perhaps even come out at some point. I think talking with other people and helping each other is the next step in that process. If you have any questions, just let me know, I don't bite... usually :icon_wink
Welcome to EC Plenty of people from all over the rainbow here, you're sure to find friends and people to relate too. Cool on getting involved in Socialism Peace, hugs, hope, cake, and justice for all.
Nice to meet you, Hats! I'm positively surprised by how many genderfluid people are on the forum. I was starting to think I was the only one :eusa_shif I'm also technically pansexual, but I stopped expressing myself as such, because I was done explaing to people that I don't have a thing for skillets
