    Hi guys, I'm new here. Reading the stories of people on EC was a big help when I came out about a month ago (mum, close friends) and I thought I would finally start posting. Looking forward to getting to know you all, I think it will be nice being able to talk to people who I can relate to (I don't really have any gay friends which sucks). :icon_bigg

    Yeahh it was a massive help. It made me realise that my friends weren't going to disown me just because I liked guys haha. And I was right - even the most homophobic ones have done a complete backflip and were nothing but supportive.
