hi all - greetings & thanks in advance for welcoming me as part of this community. i'm looking forward to it as it will be my first opportunity to delve into who/ where i'm at sexualty-wise, so to speak....something that i'm beginning to realize may be long overdue and yet - due to a pretty unique life situation (serious/ progressive health situation) - has rather easily never come to the forefront despite the fact that i'm approaching 30 (yikes!). but i should probably safe further ramblings for more analytical posting pursuits & stick to a quicker intro here.... as far as that is concerned (my intro, that is), i'm a 29 year old gal living in the midwest who came upon this site/ forum (quite gladly i must say!) upon realizing (and wanting to figure out for sure!) that the "of course i'm straight; why wouldn't i be?" assumption that i've always lived with may in fact not be my reality. it's a still-in-process realization that i'm simultaneously excited & on edge about and i'm very much looking forward to participating on the forum here (and hopefully later the chat). and i am more than eager for all of the feedback, info, encouragement, etc. that i can find. this is pretty new territory for me..... thanks for having me, melissa
