    Hi all friends of my stepson Swamp56.... He has been admitted to the hospital once again for emotional issues - the docs are keeping him over the weekend and will be adjusting meds and re-evaluating him on Monday.

    He is strong and in good spirits - we will get to the root of this and get him on the right course to keep him on an even keel!

    I had not seen anyone else post a thread regarding Chris - and for those of you who were wondering about him - thanks - you can feel free to reply to me and I will pass it on - or if you prefer - you can leave him well wishes for when he gets home.

    You are all a great support system and I know he is well known on EC!

    Once again - I am Proudstepmom - and he continues to make me proud - he will get through this, I have the utmost faith!

    I talk to him a lot, I do hope he gets better. He told me he was thinking of being admitted again, so I hope it helps. He's made it through before, I'm confident he will again.

    While I don't personally know him, I have seen his posts and gotten to know him that way. He seems like a nice guy, I hope he does well and makes it through.(*hug*)

    Thanks for your support - when I speak to him tomorrow I will let him know, hey it is tough enough coming out and now maybe some suppressed emotional issues are now able to surface and rear their ugly head - he is strong and bright - he does too much self diagnosing so encourage him to listen to the docs - sometimes I think the internet provides too much - regardless - I know he will be happy you all are thinking about him and wishing him well.

    Chris is so lucky to have such an understanding and committed stepmom to help him through this! He's written a lot about it and I know how difficult it must be for you and for him both, especially since getting even a reliable diagnosis has been such a challenge.

    We all love Chris,here. He's a real sweet guy.
    We know he's has been going through a real rough patch.
    He told us that he might have to go into the hospital,again.
    I hope,this time,he gets all his meds straightened out and opts to STAY on them.
    He & I have talked privately,on this matter and I hope he continues to do what's right for him,so he can get better.
    I,too,am glad he has such a wonderful step mom,like you. It's wonderful how you're there for him and support him.
    Please,send him my love and let him know we're ALL pulling for him and we'll be happy when he gets back. All the best to you & to Chris.

    I guessed he might be away in hospital since he had been talking about getting admitted.
    Hopefully this will help him a lot. *Hugs* to Chris and you.

    Tell Chris we miss him at EC and that we are all rooting for him to get well soon! I've read his posts and know that these mental health issues are really tough for him. I'm glad you are in his corner! (*hug*)

    he's been very up and down on steam. I was talking to him, and he seemed to go in and out of wanting to take the meds :confused:

    I read all your comments to Chris - he is feeling better and much calmer on the new mends. He is very grateful for all of your support - he should be home in a day or two...

    He seems very positive for a change and for that I am truly excited about. He says he will stay on his meds - he knows they are helping.

    For those of you who know him personally - can you keep encouraging him to stay with the meds and the programs the docs prescribe - I believe this is invaluable and will help him through

    Again - thanks for all of your support and notes - I read them all to Chris - it made him feel stronger!!
