    Hello there

    I'm a mid-teen male who's currently in the closet. Currently, only 6 people know about my sexuality, and they are all online friends who are either gay, bi or curious (A.K.A people who can understand what I am going through).
    I recently (3 months ago) realized that I was gay... And here's the annoying part:

    I have a crush on a homophobic guy. :bang: :bang: :bang:

    I am really worried that if I do come out to my family and friends that I will be completely shut out of their lives and with some people I know... Well, let's just say I fear for my safety.

    Right now I don't wish to post my name/personal email/IM handles/age/etc because if someone comes and finds my post... I'll be in deep $#!7. Really, I want to come out when I see fit.

    It is extremely hard, as there is no support in my local area for what I am going through, and the only form it is available in is my school counselor... But I don't like talking to strangers about these sort of issues.

    hehe...thats so weird cos some of my friends are totally into the whole J-Pop music and language and food and stuff....They are obsessed with DBSK tho i think thats Korean...do you know of them?

    Hi and welcome to EC i love it is awesome to be able to just chat with any body that understands. I know you dont want others to know where you live or any thing like that but there are resourses around to help you, when online Look up VAC (Vic. aids counsel) you can talk to them and they will well should be able to help find someone who you can talk to in your area.     My situation was similar to yours. There is like no gay community where I live, and my biggest crush is on someone who isn't too crazy about gays. But you know what? With the support from some awesome people here at EC, I've come out to just about everyone I know! The people here really are very kind and supportive, and we can definitely help you out!
