Hi all. I've been lurking for the last two weeks or so after finding out about this site from (of all places) Wikipedia. It's been a great resource as I came to terms with the fact I'm bi, and the users here seem to be polite and considerate, for the most part. About me... I've lived in Toronto all my life, like music (wide variety, collect LPs and playback equipment like old headphones etc), art (I'm a graphic designer and draw), writing (currently in the middle of a novel and short story... too bad about my short attention span ) and movies (bad zombie films, sci-fi films, drama, whatever). In closing, I'm just glad Toronto has such a thriving LGBTQ community, if it were for that and places like this I don't think I'd ever have garnered up the courage to call myself anything but "straight", even if that's not the true or accurate answer.
Hey Adam! I'm Jarrett I'm glad you decided to join ec, it's an awesome place in my opinion. I honestly didn't know ec was on wikipedia and i'm gonna have to go look that up now! and i think it's sick that you live in Toronto! Canada is awesome and i hope to move there one day =) so welcome to ec and make it your home =)
Thanks for the welcome. I think EC is found in a link under the article for "closeted". If anyone could see my search history for the past two weeks I'd be out in like two seconds.
Hi Adam and welcome to Empty Closets from the West Coast of Canada. I found the link to EC on Wikipedia as well! I lived in Toronto a while back. Wouldn't mind living there one day again. Great city!
Thanks! I'd love to go to the Left Coast too, having heard many great things from my friends and family that have been. The island in particular.
Yes, the West Coast is beautiful. If you ever have the chance, drive across Canada. Once you hit the Rockies and beyond, you don't wont to leave this place anymore.
Hi and welcome to EC! I'm also in the Toronto area - and it is really awesome to live here. I hope this site helps you come to terms with your orientation and allows you to be more open about it in the future. It really helped me.
