Hey all, I've been a member of EC for a week or two now but haven't made a formal introduction yet..So here it is! First off, my name..Is a reference to my college. Some people are Gophers, others are Bulldogs..Heck, there are even some Banana Slugs out there. Me-I am Johnnie. Living in Minneapolis-St. Paul after four and a half long years away and loving it. I'm 22/about a month away from being 23 and completely out for probably about two years now...I don't have an exact date..Is that weird? Some guys I know have a little coming out anniversary every year. A little about me:I love learning about the natural world, and bicycling. It is one of my goals to bike across the USA someday..I am thinking San Diego to Boston. Maybe first I should do RAGBRAI first (Des Moines Register's Annual Great Bike Ride Across Iowa) as practice. So feel free to say hi and chat it up! Add me, or PM once I become a full member. Peace/paz/pace
Hi Johnnie, and welcome to EC! It's nice that you made a formal introduction. (Though I'm not one to talk. I've been here for almost a year, and I never made an introduction ) I can remember my first coming out, but I have no clue what the date was either. So I'm guessing that it's not too uncommon to forget. See you around!
hi and welcome. thats one introduction. i dont think i even introduced myself when i came here haha. oh well, i guess its a way to get people to talk to you, maybe i will remember that.
Hey Johnnie! Welcome to EC from another noob who's taken to this place like a fish to water. These folks are my new family - so I guess that makes you my new brother! :smilewave You live in my favorite city in the whole world! I'm up north of you in Winnipeg - when we "go south" for a winter vacation, we go to the Twin Cities! (I once had someone tell me that going north of Minnesota in January was like going south of Hell in August! :laugh
Hi Johnnie, That bicycle trip across the country sounds like fun. You could zigzag across the country and chart your course by suggestions from EC members. If you start in San Diego, do it in Imperial Beach. That is the furthers inhabited southwestern point in the United States. From there you could go north up the California coast. Or east toward Arizona and across Death Valley. What should come next? Anybody? (&&&)(&&&)
