Hi, im recently out, and i would say its been smooth sailing compared to what some people have to go through. But all in all im finding it quite confronting and really hard. Ive been out 6 months (lesbian) and ive already been so incredibly discriminated against. It just makes me want to crawl back into the closet. I went to a penticostal church for 4 years and also left that last year, which just makes this harder. I also had a really good lesbian friend who helped me get through this, but now the friendship has taken a turn for the worse. So basically, i forced myself to google a gay forum where maybe i can understand this whole thing a bit better and not feel so alone in this. Thanks a lot

why thank you james. I guess im feeling a little low, because my friend who helped me come out was always a lifeline, and now shes just abandoned me. i feel a bit alone about this whole thing. To tell you the truth its quite hard. Especially seing as quite a wide range of my friends are super christians. Their answer is "the devil is tricking you" but i say "so the devil has been putting these thoughts into my head since i was 6!" and the answer is "yes,he got in early." they want to "pray me straight" haha. a bit of prayer should fix me right up! anyways its all good. Im glad this site is here
