Hello everyone out there, Introductory post thing here--have lurked here occasionally for a while now seems like a good time to post/introduce myself/etc. I am starting to finally understand my sexuality and the light bulb is starting to go off--yay . Right now, I would have to consider myself gay--except the catch (which actually has been confusing for me for a long time) is that once in a while I occasionally like women. So I guess that would technically make me bi, except that I'm probably about 90% gay. As I'm starting to gain more understanding about my sexual identity, it is becoming apparent to me that it is time to do something about it, ie begin to come out, which for me is a very gradual process and something I've been preparing myself for over the last few years (career change, relocation, etc) as I've started to come to a fuller self understanding. I am glad I found this forum, it seems full of kind-hearted open minded people who I hope to share in this journey.
Hi there and welcome to Empty Closets! Great that you are figuring things out and are also accepting your sexual identity. Congratulations on your journey thus far!
Hi and welcome to EC I hope we'll be able to give you the help and support you'll need in your coming out process. Take care and see you around
Hi, and welcome to EC. As you're figuring out your own sexual identity, keep in mind that it isn't binary or even trinary, but, according to most, a continuum. In fact, according to more than one study. only about 10% of the population is 100% gay or straight; the balance are all somewhere on the continuum. So thinking of it that way, you're squarely where most everyone else is Feel free to discuss whatever it is that comes to mind, and enjoy your time here!
Welcome! Don't worry about your exact orientation too much *pointedly ignores own multi-word stated orientation* You're attracted to people who catch your eye, and can identify however you want. And good luck on your journey through life!
Hi, and welcome to EC! Hopefully we'll be of some help in finding out more about yourself and in coming out!
