Helloo. Well i joined this site probably a few weeks ago but this is my first postt. I'm gay, sixteen years old, live in new york. I'm not fully out yet. I'm not sure how many people know that I'm gay because of a little incident over last summer. I'd say fifteen tops though. I'vehad a girlfriend in the past which did not work out, though she did become my best friend... and also caused the little summer incident... Hm yeah anyways lol.. I've never had a boyfriend but I've been getting really lonely lately and I guess I'm just here looking to meet someone. I'm extremely shy and honestly I think I'm a really boring person :/ but I don't know. Thought I'd give this a shot. Haha hm any takers? sorry if this is in the wrong thread btw haha

I seriously doubt you're anywhere near as boring as you say. And as for shyness... my guess is that's a trait you share with a very large percentage of guys (and girls) who are just in the process of coming out As you get more comfortable with yourself, I think you'll find it a little easier to have comfort and confidence in being who you are, and that, in turn, will help you to become more outgoing. hey mate welcome to ec. Hope u find alot of useful info. Of course ec is not an site to find a boyfriend. You are very welcome to put your input on this site. If I were you I would not worry about boyfriend. It will come and besides you are only 16. Anyway try not to be so hard on yourself. In additon shyness can be reduced but it wont happen over night. have a good day.
