I was looking for this part of the board earlier, yet somehow I still missed it... Idiot move, much? So HII! Wanted to just do something different for a change so joined an LGBT site. Wow... slightly large step. Ummm. Ask me a question and I'll probably answer it. Kthxbai!
That would be it. Does it change regularly? Is this a werewolf board? [[NO, I'm not a twilight twat. I just like supernatural things.]]
Lol thank goodness no, Martin/Satan/God only changes things during April fools and whats a werewolf board?
Head mod my ass! xD In all seriousness, welcome to EC xD
LMAO. I love The Hangover. Even if it is slightly rude and degrading, "Paging Dr. Faggot!" is still funny for me. Frick I wish I owned that movie; I'd put it in right now.
Welcome to EC!! I'll answer any questions you may have at the low introductory price of $5 a pop! Hurry because this special offer won't last!
Hey, ReZipped, and welcome to EC! You mananged to catch us on April Fools Day, when the staff did a few things to mess up the board for the purpose of messing with people's heads. Congrats on taking the step to join EC! I think you'll find it to be a wonderful and supportive place. You can jump into any conversation you like, create a few of your own, ask any questions you want. And as for vegas... I probably tend to agree with you. It has its good points, but personally I've never found it to be particularly liberal or welcoming to gay people when I've visited... but that could in part be because it seems to be a mecca for people from the midwest who often aren't the most openminded. (BTW, have you noticed the abundance of godawful, 20+ years out-of-date hairstyles and fashions on a lot of the tourists who visit?) But there are also a lot more resources for gay people in Vegas than in an awful lot of other places, so you really aren't doing too bad living there! If you feel like it, tell us a little more about yourself... what sorts of things you're interested in, if you've had luck with relationships, sharing your coming out stories... whatever appeals to you to share. And feel free to contribute to any of the discussion threads, or start soem of your own!
THANKS FOR THE WELCOMES! It's pretty awesome here. As for Vegas... Vegas is an amazing experience. Not so much an amazing lifestyle, LoL. I would probably kill to spend a weekend here and do all the fun things (legally), but when you live and go to school here there are sooo many things that you have deal with. * Shoot outs * Drugs * Bad driving * Sub-par Education (State is National Bottom Feeder. Consistently.) * Homophobes * Tourists - @Chip: I know! I was driving down Spring Mountain through the Strip, I saw a sea of fanny packs, panama hats, and hawaiian shirts. As for the gay resources, that's totally true. Our libraries have have two local LGBT magazines that I secretly worship, although never bring home. Q and Nightbeat. It's pretty awesome. I'm thinking about joining our GSA next year... Still haven't told the mother, so might have to deal with that first.
