Hey, so I'm going to college next year and I really want to be out of the closet there but I've only recently been okay enough with myself to even contemplate this. I'm out to a few people and hope you guys can help me raise that number!

It really depends on how ready you feel to come out further. Once you are at college, a good approach might be to join a LGBT club on campus and become active with them. Usually, LGBT groups provide for a safe place, give you the opportunity to make some new friends and also can help you in becoming more comfortable in coming out further.
