For a long time I've been lurking about these forums reading posts and listening to stories, mainly because I've for a long time questioned who I am. But after reading a wonderful book for most of the day, I think I know the answer. I may not be ready to admit that to everyone around me, but I felt maybe becoming more involved here with people who understand would be an important first step. But also, to maybe learn even more about myself. So...hello! I'm afraid this is all I can think to say at this point!
Well, welcome to the family, Ciceron, it's good to have you with us at last It's brilliant that you're coming to terms with who you are; you've taken a huge first step already in admitting to yourself that you could be gay. And too right, becoming involved here will certainly get the ball rolling, but it's baby-steps and you take as long as you need, because there's no race The people of EC give out some cracking advice and awesome support, as you've most likely seen, so all you need do is holler. Thanks! The book was Meditations. I re-read it every once in awhile, as I swear there is something new to learn each time. I know it's not exciting but the book is very insightful.
In an interesting note, for a couple years my nickname was in fact "New Guy" as my employer insisted on everyone having nicknames. I actually kinda liked it, as after all that time it was kinda silly to say. Heck, even my parents called me that for awhile.
