YAY, i can now say "Im Dave from Australia", without pretending to be someone else...anyway... That's cool, do you wanna be called Micah or Dave? as in when we refer to you on here....cos I have trouble enough with just trying to remember people's names without them changing on me...anyway, awesome!
It'll confuse me too, as I am so used to calling him Dave. I don't even know how to pronounce Micah...
He'll have to let us know which is the right pronunciation. I felt really embarrassed this summer when I met an online friend whom I had been talking with for probably about 6 or 7 years. She is Dutch but now lives in Switzerland. Her name is Main so I pronounced it exactly like we would pronounce that word in English. Turns out it is pronounced Mine. It took me a long time to get that Main out of my head. LOL
and another who thinks it's my-ca ... just cos it sounds cooler like that!! Glad that the change Dave/Micah's been wanting for a while has finally come about.
Hey guys, You can continue calling me Dave if you want. My first name is Micah, and my middle names are David James, so I have a group of friends that still call me David (thus the old username). But I joined up here nearly 2 years ago (yikes), and that group of people aren't my closest friends anymore, so I'm not really used to it in real life. But I'm more than used to it here. It'll be weird at first signing my posts off as Micah /shrug Oh, and for the record, it's pronounced "My-Cah". I've changed my user title to "formerly dave" to avoid as much confusion as possible
