    Hiya! I'm Hotspot! I'm a big fan of anime and video games, I am also a homosexual (ya know, just in case you didn't see the little info box under my avatar ;p )
    I myself had an oddness with my homomsexuality, as I wouldn't admit it to myself for a few years. Which is weird cause I don't know any homophobes IRL :confused:
    I myself actually accepted myself as a homosexual on exactly August 21 2009, around 11 pm I would say.
    I finally admitted it after watching an episode of Eureke, because I like the main character and he didn't have a shirt on for a fraction of that episode ;D

    Glad to be here, I haven't joined a LGBT forum in a while.

    Thanks for the welcomes everyone!

    @Rsinwa: I think one reason was because there were no homosexuals on tv (except for flamboyant ones that I couldn't relate to) So I think i just figured you had to be very feminine to be gay, not to mention there was no one to look up to. I think what happened, is It just didn't seem normal because there was no one on tv (or at least from what I was watching there wasn't) that was gay and was able to show a less stereotypical gay character.

    @MattHiFriends16: Ooooh, that's who I'm talking about ;3

    Well, at the moment I have 10 favorite anime. Hell girl, Scrapped Princess, Rave Master, Naruto, Bleach, D-Gray Man, Soul Eater, Inuyasha, Elemental Gelade and Kyo Kara Maoh!
    I've only read up to the 7th volume of the D-Gray man, manga.

    I like action adventure, mystery, comedy, fantasy and of course Yaoi anime/manga.

    Oh yeah! I know what you mean though. For a long while, i thought that all gays had to be flamboyant and really feminine like on television. Then, one day, i learned that there are alot of us gays who don't really act like that.

    I came out at around the same date as you! Lol...August 28, 2009 if i recall correctly. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

    As for anime, you should totally absolutely watch Code Geass if you haven't done soooo!! It's high up on my list of favourites :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes: (even i who's not into mecha loved it xD).

    @NickT: No, I've seen FMA. But what you said sounded more like the wonder twins xD

    @Rsinwa: It's good to know that I wasn't the only one, I used to think it was just me.

    @RadiantDawn: Actually one of my friends wanted to cosplay as the character Taokaka, I didn't know Taokaka was from Blazblue though. But now it has my full hearted intention, it looks really kewl.

    @Thinkstoomuch: I have seen Code Geass, it was awesome and I prefer it over death note. I think the spin off sounds awesome too.

    @Malachite: Yes, there are =D I even have a gay friend IRL that is into anime and all that stuff.
