I dont think i can tell you my name because of the terms of this amazing community, but here is a little bit about me: I have been out since my freshman year in high school and that was 4 years ago now. I am 17 years old, and pretty sure of myself. My reason for joining is to help others. In many situations there have been people who have come to me, to seek advice about their sexuality, and with many of those people they are now out, and living their lives as happy successful gay teens. So when my friend referred me to this site, I was happy to know that I could share that kind of assistance on a greater scale. On a more personal level, I am a surviver. My dad died when I was very young, and I have had to grow up as the man of the house, and have struggled with being gay. Since the day I had come out I was harassed on a daily basis. To say the least I was was incredibly depressed. I went threw a long period of drub abuse, eating disorders, and suicidal actions. That brought me to a time in my life that I still have trouble talking about today, but am ready to share with others if it helps. Today, with the help of many, I have over come many of life's most difficult obstacles, I am more sure of myself than ever, and I am eager to help. Thank you
