My name is Ryan I am eighteen years of age and quite new to Empty Closets. I made my account the other day, but this is my first time browsing the site itself. Being the extreme activist I am, this site excites me. I think the flow of information will be healthy for my small little G-SA. I linked the site to our FB page. Anyway, a little about myself. I am a senior at one of the five largest schools in East Tennessee (by population size). My principal is quite homophobic and thus I am currently working on a G-SA before I leave the school. I am a hopeless romantic. I enjoy laughing more than just about anything. I am easy to cry. I have a big heart. I am a push-over by nature. I am absolutely obsessed with Dolly Parton! The Color Purple is my favorite movie. I am slowly becoming a theater junkie. I am tired all the time. ^^; I don't doubt you'll learn more of me soon. I am far too sociable for my own good.
Welcome, Ryan! What a fantastic thing that you're an activist in a place like eastern TN that, though it's improved quite a bit in the past few years, is still somewhat hostile toward LGBT people. I hope you stick around and share your own knowledge with us and that the community can be helpful to you with issues that you may have.
