So, I'm a 16 year old bisexual female. I'm out to my mum and a few close friends.. It's been greeted with mixed reactions. My mum says she's fine with it, but since I told her she's treated me different :/. One of my best friends told me that it's sinful.. I finally figured out that I'm bi on december 29 last year, after a year of uncertainty. I thought I was straight, cos everyone else was. But at the start of last year I wasn't so sure. And then following some events, I started further questioning my sexuality, and arrived at the conclusion that I'm bi. So here I am now. Hardly any support, as well as rather severe depression. So, I think that's pretty much me... Oh, and hugs are one of my favorite things.

Hi and welcome to EC (*hug*), I'm sorry you've been experiencing not so great reactions when you came out. I hope you'll find some more supportive people to be around soon. Have you check if there is any kind of LGBT associations in your area ? Or maybe a GSA at your school ? That could be places to start building a support network.
