Hey all - new here... early 20s and questioning. Going through some really tough times and looking for some help with figuring things out. This forum seems really helpful so I'll be posting very soon hoping for some advice. (Sorry about the lame username... wasn't feeling creative today.)
Hi and welcome to Empty Closets! EC is a great place to be, and I am sure it will help you in figuring things out. Welcome aboard!
hi! and Welcome! Hope you find the answers you're looking for, but always remember that the true answer comes from yourself, not anyone else. It took me 23 years to realize that I was attracted to girls and guys equally. Before, I felt that since I was attracted to guys, I couldn't be lesbian. Since I was attracted to girls, I should be lesbian. In the end, neither place fit completely. We can give you advice on our experience, but listen to your heart because it will tell you the most about you. Don't let anyone tell you who to be; that's the most important thing I've learned on my journey. And don't feel pressured to figure things out too quickly. A slow journey isn't bad.
Your user name is fine! Lulu165 has NOTHING to do with my name if that makes you feel better. And I read somewhere you are allowed to change your name as much as you want in the first week of being a regular member and up to three times afterwards. Welcome to EC, this place is awesome (in my opinion) I think it is a great resource plus there is a dancing banana(!)(!)(!)
Hi there, and welcome to EC! I hope you enjoy it here! Also, your username is just fine, lol! It has a 42 in it, so I'm sure you'll find some answers!
Hey, welcome to EC! What sort of help do you need? If you have specific questions or concerns, fire away, and we'll do our best to answer. It can be pretty daunting thinking about your sexuality, becoming comfortable accepting who you are if you don't fit the "mainstream" and how family, friends, and others will take it, but there are a lot of great resources and people here who can help. I hope you'll stick around and become an active member of the community!
