hi everyone ! it seems to be a tradition on forums to introduce oneself, that's what i'll try to do ! so, i'm 22 years old, i'm french and i live in Italy i'm already a member of an equal french forum ([removed by mod] if some are interested, but it's all in french, though, and not extremely active) and i found this one by browsing the web i recently "came out to myself" (do you say that ? i just made it up) about 2 months ago, realized, accepted and put a word on what i had been aware for so many years... saying these 3 words, "I am gay", was so scary, yet relieving no problem with the fact of being gay, but by now i just torment myself with so many questions, it's not easy everyday, quite a change ! anyway, i don't think this is the place to tell this story (cause i like reading people's stories, so i'm sure mine will help someone one day or another. egocentric story someplace else !) so, i'm a casual guy, i currently live in Italy (only 1 month left, :tears in Florence (aka Jersey Shore City...), and then back to Paris i study architecture to become... well, i dunno what yet, i'm a big design fan, i love cooking, hanging out with friends, and... actually i don't like introducing myself and don't know what to say ! just to tell you, the forum seems nice, full of helpful and welcoming people, so, here i am ! (!) just cause it made me laugh and remind me of when i used to chat with other teenagers on AOL chats, back to middle school !
Chouette !
Welcome to the forum It is a valid phrase to say "I came out to myself". Seeing as you like cooking, maybe you could come over to my house and cook something for me. I have a feeling that my microwave is getting a bit fed up of having to work all the time!
Um . . . bonjour? I learn German, not French. For which I am glad; French has so many apostrophes and illogical pronunciations!
hi again! thank you all for your welcome ! i'm sure i'll enjoy being here, already found people in the exact same case who i can really openly talk to and for those who don't speak French (yet), i have the ultimate key : Learn French in one word @ Corporal Sparks : unplug your microwave and start cooking some italian cuisine, pasta, salsa, formaggio, prosciutto, the simpler is the best !
Mon français n'est plus bien, je parler anglais normalement Hope you enjoy it here
lauren: did you say, "Hello and welcome to EC. My name is lauren and I live in New Zealand. My French isn't very good, as I normally speak English."??? (I didn't use an online translator)
