Hey everyone. I'm a 22 year old woman and I'm getting my degree in education. I'm bisexual and in a long-term relationship with a man. I never really had the opportunity to explore my sexuality and that's difficult. I think that at least I'll be a very understanding teacher and my classroom will be a safe-space for all genders and orientations. What else do you want to know?

  2. Hello, welcome to EC! I'm sure you'll love it here

    Welcome!!
I'm glad to see that there are teachers that are supportive. I was never out at my school, but I saw some of my friends get discriminated against by teachers.

Welcome. One of my favorite teachers stressed equality. Back in October I got very angry with homophobia and went to her classroom in tears. Not only did she stop what she was doing (After school) but provided a listening ear for nearly an hour, later informing me on the It Gets Better project. She isnt even my teacher anymore. I am glad to hear about more teachers like her
