Hello everyone, I'm new here. I didn't think I'd ever join a site like this but I'm curious if theres anything here that will help me. I'm a 19 year old college student, still in the closet and looking to maybe change that or exchange other helpful advice. I'd be happy to answer some questions about myself and meet the community.
Hi and welcome to EC! It's great that you have decided to join EC. You will find that quite a few members were in the spot in which you are at the moment. What you might find is that, your fist couple of coming outs are going to be the hardest because you are trying to let go of inner fears and wonder how everyone around you will react. But as you start confiding to others, and become more comfortable with others knowing, coming out will become easier. Being in college, is actually a good time to come out, as often times, colleges have different support groups on campus that can make things easier. Feel free to create threads in the Support and Advice sections and/or talk to members. EC is a great place to become more comfortable with coming out. Welcome aboard!
