    Hi everyone,

    I'm a 36 year old guy from NYC. I've a tough time coming to terms with being gay and have only started to confront it in the last few years--and it's been slow going!

    I look forward to making some friends here.

    Hi there, and welcome to Empty Closets! I think it is great that you have started to try accepting, and learn more about yourself. That's already a huge step! Congrats on that. Take as much time as you need to come to terms with your sexual identity. It isn't a race to a finish line. In time, you will be more comfortable with yourself and will be ready to start the coming out process.
