hey guys my name's marika/lee. i'm out as a lesbian and working on coming out as trans (ergo: lee). i grew up in conservative suburbia, not knowing what gay was (besides something that certain boys got beat up for), and half of my family is completely intolerant to any orientation besides heterosexual. the other half of my family doesn't want any trouble. addiction, abuse, and bigotry runs in my family. i'm lucky to have made it out somewhat normal. all i want is to give other people advice or suggestions, based on what i've been through. even if i haven't been through it, i am empathetic. i don't think anybody should feel alone. please message me if you need someone to talk to. i don't judge anyone.
