I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this. If it isn't, then please move it to a more proper part of the forum.

Anyways, yesterday in school, we got our scores back for our PSAT's. I could not be happier with my results. I got 210 out of 240 for my total score, putting me in the 98% percentile. What's even more amazing is that I got perfect scores on the math sections. Perfect scores! :eusa_danc I knew I did well, but I could never have hoped that I would get 80 out of 80. My parents were as excited as I was, and my dad is taking me to see Beowulf and eat lunch at Vinny T's to celebrate.
    (!)(!!)

    Edit: Woohoo! My 200th post!

    Congratulations!!!

I bet it's been a lot of hard work, but it's paid off. Well done, and enjoy that meal. You deserve it!

    Nice!

I'm right there with you, except kinda opposite. I got perfects on both the Reading and Writing parts, although I didn't do as well as I thought on math. 224 points/99th percentile was mine, but hey, chances are we'll both get some form of National Merit thing for doing so well. Makes taking a rather pointless test into something worthwhile.

My parents didn't do anything for me but say good job, though.

congratulations! the psats/sats are a pain, and its great that you did so well

i hate the SATs. i got an perfect score on reading and writing but somehow only a 700 on math. Math, as it happens, is one of my strongest areas in school and I have an A+ in AP Calculus BC. For some reason though I can't do SAT math lol

It's not like missing 100 on math matters a whole lot. 2300 is enough to get in just about anywhere... or everywhere... if you have the grades to back it up.
