Today I decided to tell my parents that I am gay. I emailed my mom cause I was too scared to actually tell them. At first she was upset because she was having a bad day and me emailing her instead of telling her made it a little more hectic. But after awhile she apologized and was very accepting. When she came home she told me she had told my dad and that he was undecided. She went to talk to him and they came back. I went into the kitchen because I needed to feed one of my dogs and he hugged me and said everything would be the same. I am very relieved because I was afraid he would not except me and shun me for it but him accepting me is a very relieving thing. So all in all a pretty productive day.
Congratz!!! Always wanting to take that step for myself. Typed it a dozen times, but never been able to hit "send". Proud of you and every other LGBT that has come out =)
