(I just realised I'm going to have to put my name on here) I'm Leaving216, I'm almost 17, and I'm just starting to come to terms with this whole 'being gay' thing after spending a good 18 months in denial. I've got a sickeningly pretentious music taste, play guitar, and excel at being socially awkward. I have no idea who I would tell in 'real life' (I'd be terrified they'd just tell everyone else, and I'm nowhere near ready for that) and I figured this would be a good place to just come and see how other people like me deal with it. So yeah, Hi!
that is the cutest post ever lol... welcome i will set forth that YOU, my young friend will have a phenomenal time in college. i think your sense of social awkwardness is actually that you are probably ahead of your peers stick around and share what's going on with you. you'll likely realize that people are dealing with the same things as you and you're not so alone as you feel. again, welcome
Welcome! You've already started the process simply by telling us! There's no rush to tell anyone else, and I think as you spend time here and read and contribute, you'll start to feel more comfortable about who you are, and that will make it easier to come out. But for now, just relax. Read. Learn. Talk about anything that concerns you, no matter how dumb you might perceive it to be, there are no dumb questions here And if you want to speak with someone one-on-one, our team of advisors are here to help. So feel free to message me or any of the other advisor team and we'll be happy to talk to you.
I also excel at being socially awkward! *awkward high-five* Anyways, :welcome: to EC! You have indeed found the right place for finding out how others deal with acceptance and coming out.
Well, Welcome to EC, I am new here too, but not to being transgender lol! Hope you Enjoy this place as much as I am already and hope to continue to do so.
