So, I figured someplace like this existed but I was too afraid to look into it. I spent some time reading the blogs and various other things on the hrc.org site because that's an organization I know a little about, but there was nothing that i thought really applied to me. A little bit about me: I'm 27, I have a girlfriend I've been with for seven years (it will be in April) and I'm just now confronting some things about myself. I dunno, I don't want to get too into everything for my first post. I'll be checking out some things around here to feel out the community to see where I fit in. Anyway, thanks for having me.
Welcome. Even though you have been with your girlfriend for 7 years, its important not to let that hold you back in discovering your true sexuality. We have people come on to this forum who are in their 50s and 60s and have only just now accepted who they are or decided to come out. Its important that you dont waste your life being someone who you're not.
Thank you everyone for your warm welcome Robert, that's good advice. Talking to another newbie I met last night, I discovered I'm still in the "decision" phase... odd, I didn't think this had phases, nor did I realize it's a process that could take a lifetime.
