Hi everyone, I'm here because I can't figure out my orientation and I don't have anybody to talk to about this, and I'm really lonely and scared all the time. I'm some sort of bisexual, I guess, I tend to be heterosexual and homoromantic, but I kinda think of myself as gay. And I'm not exactly comfortable around people, so I haven't ever really been with someone. Oh, and I'm a woman. Sorry, this is a really lame first post.
Yiaw, it's a start and step in the right direction. Right now you're questioning and that's absolutely ok. It might be a while before you come to any sort of definitive answer and that's just fine. You'll find as you read a number of the intro and coming out posts that people find themselves awash in the fluidity that is sexuality, but once they start examining their emotions, how certain people make them feel, how they react to seeing people they find attractive, will greatly help you to zero in on who you are. A number of people state they are either gay or lesbian, but not ruling anything out. This leaves them room to potentially fall in love with someone of the opposite sex. This, too, is perfectly ok and acceptable. Take your time and have a look around. Post your own comments, questions, concerns. Nothing is trivial and you most definitely aren't the only person walking this path of yours. I thought I was the only gay 34-year old virgin on this board, but guess what? I'm not. Go figure. Welcome to EC.
Hey welcome to EC, as JRNagoya said you are certainly not alone, everyone on EC is really friendly and never be afraid to ask anything however silly it might seem in your mind, most of us have probably been there at some point.
