So it's probably quite noticeable that i'm new here. I've checked out EC at various times in the past, but I decided that today is the day to join it! :icon_bigg I guess i'll share a little about myself? I'm a teenage guy living somewhere in the grand Canadian province of Alberta, bordered by majestic mountains on the left and flat prairies on the right. I enjoy cooking, reading, hiking, swimming, photography, singing, acting... and the like. I first knew I was gay when I was around 8 years old. I developed a little crush towards another boy in my grade and I knew that it was something that not every other boy my age was experiencing. All of them talked about the ladies, after all! As I grew older I would find other guys very attractive and I realized that I wanted to someday be in a relationship with one. I've been born and raised in a Christian household, so as you can imagine it was quite a shock to my parents when I told them what I was feeling. They were quite homophobic so I was extremely scared, but I knew that I had to do it. Fast foreward many years later and they're accepting and supportive! I'm hopelessly in love with my straight best guy friend, (who knows I'm gay, but does not know of my feelings towards him), so it's quite hard to say the least! Maybe one day I'll tell him the rest of the story. Who knows! I look foreward to interacting with you guys around the website! Thanks for reading this!
