I'm not the best with introductions, so I'll just share some random facts about me to get it started. -I'm Samantha (or Sam, doesn't matter). -I am 22 and I live in Pennsylvania. -I go out of my way to put my left shoe on before my right one. I have no clue why. -I have a phobia of fish. Especially goldfish. I have no clue why. -I have a pit bull/black lab mix named Ruby. I love her more than most people. -I never got a driver's license. -I love corny jokes. My favorite? "What did the cow say to the Viagra salesman? Moo." xD -My favorite food is mac and cheese with ketchup. -My father is a Seventh-Day Adventist minister. -My mother is a psychologist and an atheist. -I'm a natural redhead, although my hair has been turning more blonde lately. -I run 5k marathons on a regular basis. I still can't get my weight to under 180. Go figure. -I'm bisexual, but after getting real with myself, I think I'm a lesbian. -I love rain, but I'm scared of thunderstorms. -I took up acoustic guitar three weeks ago. I was surprised to find that I'm naturally good at it. -I'm opinionated and I don't care who knows it. -I only snore when I have a cold. -I have the sheet music of Pearl Jam's song "Black" tattooed on my upper back. -I love showers. LOVE them. I shower at least twice a day. -Justin Bieber makes me happy. I CAN'T HELP IT! :roflmao: So hi! I hope you are having a wonderful day/night, wherever you are. I'm excited to meet as many of you as I can.
Welcome to EC! :newcolor: Apparrantly, everyone puts on the same shoe/sock before the other, almost every time. For me, it's always the right sock/shoe, but the left slipper. I've no idea why!
I'm not, but it's funny that you say that. I've had several people tell me I should be, based on the way I speak. I'm pretty good with metaphors. I use them when I try to give advice because it helps put things into perspective. I might have to give it a shot. Thank you all for the welcomes. I feel like this forum is really going to help me. Everyone is so warm and friendly! It feels safe here, like I've found an adoptive home. I'm excited about where my life is going, and this site just might be the support group that helps me get there. Thank you all. ---------- Post added 20th Mar 2012 at 10:04 PM ---------- This also made my heart very happy.
Hi there! I'm new here, too (sort of). I had an account years ago but literally just rediscovered it after going through some old emails with friends. It was a great site then and I hope you enjoy it.
Did you hear about the restaurant on the moon? Good food but no atmosphere. Welcome to EC One Small Point!
YESSSSSS! I've never heard that one before- but that's right up my alley. I laughed quite a bit- and then texted it to my best friend.
