Hi everyone, I'm Vanc. I'm currently in my senior year at university in Vancouver (hence the username). I'm an avid swimmer and one of my guilty pleasure is playing Neopets (yes, totally embarassing I know...). I found this site looking for other people that are going through the same issues that I'm facing in my life currently. I've come out to my first 2 people in the past month and they have had some really good responses! But I haven't told any of my family members yet and that seems to be the most daunting task for me. Here's hoping you guys will be able to help me through it .
I USED TO LOVE NEOPETS WHEN I WAS, erm, eight.. I see your point haha, no I think it's really cool that you have the guts to introduce yourself to hundreds of strangers admitting to that And lesbehonest,.. neopets is one whole load of awesome. We just do not have the guts to admit it after the age of ten WELCOME;D;D

fireworks: Well to be perfectly fair at this stage in my life telling someone that I play Neopets is a lot easier than telling someone I'm gay . Steve712: You guessed right! I'm in the faculty of Science but I'm just going to keep it at that for fear that someone might find out who I am... sorry >.<
Welcome to EC! I wouldn't worry about people finding you here, UBC is a big school. But just share whatever you're comfortable with, nobody will mind. Maybe you could practice for coming out as gay by coming out as a neopets fan? Don't worry, I played it when I was in college too. :lol:
