So, it has been a very long time, EC -- my visits have been on a yearly basis since 2008 or so. For those who don't know me, I come from a time when EC's user count had only three digits.

My name's Federico, but those few who still remember me, universally knew me as Fred, and I come from a faraway land by the River Plate.

Just being here fills me with nostalgia. EC used to represent most of my social life through my coming out when I was younger. However after my long absence, nearly all of the people I used to talk to haven't logged in in months, even years; the ones that remain (Ben, which whom I remember arguing; Helen, and beckyg who has seen me criticize the government more recently) are now staff members.

Speaking of them -- wow, I now am senior to the whole staff (although Jim1454 showed up not that long after I did.) I guess that truly makes me a senior citizen of EC. I wonder if I'm eligible for retirement by now, hehe. Therefore, my mood, which used to be "Neutral" when I was around --I actually created that one--, will stay as "Old" indefinitely.

I'm now checking out my old posts. There's one about not liking that much my first date with some guy I don't even remember. (I'm trying really hard to remember who he was, but I'm totally blank.) There's my coming out... my first time going to a gay club... even my first time. EC is kind of a diary of my coming out process. And I have to admit, I was so dramatic; I can't believe that I literally felt suicidal for such stupid things.

The modern me should have given the younger me a good kick, haha -- but the older me was right in something, I really was rather unattractive. (Not that I'm that hot now either, but I'm somewhat better looking haha.)

I can't help but to think that we're so ephemeral on the web. It seems that my legacy on EC is limited to this thread (which saw activity last week) and my record if the user list is sorted by posts. (I'm still in the top 30, haha.)
