Hey everyone. I'm new here. I've browsed a lot of LGBT forums in the past but never really found one that I wanted to sign up on until now. Usually I'm just a lurker to be honest. Anyway, I'm 17, gay, and from Vancouver BC Canada. I'm out to two of my friends. My best friend, of course. And the second one is a friend that I thought was homophobic, but it turns out isn't. I didn't come out to him (he found a torrent that I forgot to clear from my history.) Anyway, both of my friends that I came out to don't really understand "why" I like guys. I have no idea how to explain it to them since they're straight. But understanding or not, they're still accepting and I love 'em for it! Planning on coming out to the rest of my friends and eventually my family. Interests... hmm. Well I'm sorta nerdy. I'm into computers and gaming a lot, and literature. After I graduate highschool I'm planning on going to university and into the architecture field, since it has always fascinated me. (I regret not getting into it more during highschool, but that's not the point.) Well, that's all I can really think of at the moment. I'm trying to change from the usual lurker me to posting more, so I'll see you all in other threads!
Another computers and gaming person! =D Awesome to have you here. I was going to do architecture at uni, but then they introduced their first official bachelor of games, so I'm going into my second year of it now. As for explaining to your friends why you like guys, tell them it's just like how they like girls - it's just a natural attraction! Anyway, there's plenty of sections to post in, so get posting more. =P Join me in the Entertainment and Technology section, lol.
Welcome! That was a great introduction, I love it when ppl give us info about themselves so that we can find simmilarities, ie I'm into computers too, so awesome for that. Congrats on alread coming out to a couple of friends, and good luck with you other friends/family. Btw, Im Dave from Aus, see you around the forum ...Also, Becky, I know the question was directed at Words, but I thought I may as well answer while Im here There is a place, as in "The bike was placed over there" Their is possesive, as in "The ball was theirs"
