Hey forum, I'm Andrew. I'm 14 and from Dallas, so you can imagine how fun it is to be closeted here... I consider myself fully gay. I love sports (I play football, X country, lifting), I love watching movies, listening to music and just being with friends (having someone to talk to).

My biggest crush, among others, would definitely have to be Sam Mikulak.

So I'm looking forward to whatever I can get out of this site. Thanks

I think you might actually be surprised to know that Dallas has a pretty vibrant gay community and a lot of openness toward gay people. Of course, not everyone will be, and it can be particularly tough in high school, but you may be surprised when you're ready to come out.

In the meantime, EC is a wonderful place to talk, read, and understand yourself better. Hope you stick around!

Actually, my girlfriend is from Dallas (who is a closeted MTF) and I also have a bisexual friend from there that says that says the gay community is very nice there but there's a lot of those anti-LGBT Christians. Still, don't let that discourage you!

Wow, sports are such a good thing. I always encourage people to do activities to be healthy! Also, if you need someone to talk to or have fun, I am here

. It is nice to have friends while you're on your way to coming out!

Haha, yeah, she's right. There are way too many of those kind of churches here. Especially the biggest one, Fellowship. It's like a damn cult. And I just get off sports, you know. Endorphines, etc... But I'm a lazy bum when the opportunity arises

Let's forget about the churches, you are you and with time you will come out and be as free as a rainbow butterfly! Now you're young so give it time, unless you want to come out fast

you at least have my support.

You tell me. Last summer I was teaching soccer to little kids and I couldn't get enough and this summer I'm all lazy even with my boxing and exercise routines...

Haha. I actually plan on staying closeted to everyone (except maybe a boyfriend/close friend) until I move out. Parents are less than keen on the idea of homosexuality...

Well, that's a secure plan! And I can imagine, same goes with the parents of my girlfriend...
