Hi, I just joined this community as a part of many changes I'm doing in my life. I love the effort you all put into creating these "breathing spaces" for us gays in rejection-filled locations. Thanks in advance. About me: I'm an exclusively gay man, son of a fundy pastoral family. You all can guess what that has meant for my life in terms of coming to grips with my sexuality. Long story short, I knew I was gay since I was 10, and since I was 17, I first spoke of my orientation to a few select people. Now I'm preparing for my eventual coming out of the closet, and as part of those plans, I thought I'd join a support group. I have no experience in any sort of relationship, so maybe my experiences with a fundy family will also help others who have to endure this pain.
