Hey everyone, I go by Owen (but I believe there's another Owen on here already, so it can spelled Owenn... I dunno). Ha ha.
Anyway, I'm 17, and my biological sex is female. I found out about terms like genderqueer some months ago and started referring to myself as queer in my head, but now I'm starting to realize that I'm transgender (FtM). I've struggled with my gender a LOT, starting when I was around 13 or 14, but my struggles have gotten worse and I've been thinking much more seriously about my problems. So yeah.

My sexuality is best described as asexual (panromantic). I can be romantically attracted to anybody of any sex or gender, as that hardly matters to me when it comes to relationships. Strangely enough I find myself slightly more romantically attracted to females and those that fall outside the gender binary (maybe because I relate to them better? idk) and more aesthetically attracted to male bodies. But it really depends on the individual, of course.

I'm afraid that if I ever come out, I won't be taken seriously. I'm not stubborn or assertive, and to make things easier for myself (as I'm incredibly shy and insecure) I've never fought to wear boys' clothes, or change my name, or anything like that. While I am overall not very feminine, I still "act feminine" around my family. I'm just their non-sporty tomboy that doesn't care about dressing in girls' clothes or anything, if that makes sense.

So, uh, hi. I like reading, animals, TV, sleeping, and spending time alone. I hope I'll be active here, as I REALLY need some people that know what I'm going through to talk to.
