Hi. I'm new.

    Finding this site a few moments ago, I am brand new to this forum.

    I am also new to being gay. Or bi. Or a lesbain. I haven't quite figured out where I fall in all that. I'm not feeling much pressure to stand in a line though. I'm just started to identify myself in these terms and haven't, um, putting anything into practice yet.

    Here is what I do know and can tell you about myself: I'm a 33 year old woman. I am single and have a wonderful dog. I am in the middle of a career shift and I am back at school. I was very depressed for a very long time. This had to do with self acceptance in many forms. I am now feeling much healthier and have made many positive changes in my life.

    I don't know what else to say to introduce myself. :smilewave Finding this site is giving me a sense of relief. I'm out to a few people and I don't know many gay people and I have many questions. I hope to find support here and to make some more friends.

    Hi there - and welcome to EC from Jim in Toronto. I too was depressed on and off for a long time, and I'm sure it's because I was denying myself my true identity. I didn't come to terms with being gay until about a year ago - at age 35. So I can relate.

    Hi Keera ! Welcome to EC.:welcome: I too have gone through depression and am slowly finding out who I am,thanks in a large part to EC.There's nothing like it in the world for guidance along this path.
