Hello Everyone!

Hello there, my name is Garaidh, I'm 19 and I'm from the Scottish Hebrides and I have been known to sometimes slip up on my English but I should be fine! So basically I come from a traditional christian family in a very tight knit island community but I now live on the mainland so I can study at University. I've been confused about my sexuality for quite a while now so for the last couple of days I've taken to the internet (because I finally have a computer). From what I've seen so far here people seem very understanding and helpful so I'm glad this site is here

 

Tapadh leat, I definitely know that I am not heterosexual but what I want to somehow find in myself is if I'm bisexual or homosexual because I can see myself marrying a women and having children because I have had crushes throughout my school days on girls and I still findsome females attractive but until I reached about 14 it was only girls I was interested in. Then I reached 14 and was going through puberty and found myself sort of attracted to both sexes but I knew I was going through puberty and thought what I was feeling was just temporary but my attraction to both sexes continued. I'm not sure what caused it and I didn't tell anyone because on a small Hebridean island, gossip can spread very quickly and I didn't want that to happen. Also for a period of time I was exclusively attracted to boys and again I'm not sure why but something put me off girls. Sorry if this is a bit jumbled but as I said I'm very confused.
