Hello, I just joined two days ago and figured I should introduce myself. I'm never very good at these introduction things, so I'm just going to copy and paste from my biography: "I have a serious case of denial, but at the age of 20, I'm now able to admit to myself that I am gay, which I have been unable to do for years. I just joined this site because lately I've been stressed out over this whole thing, and I need people I can talk to in order to relieve some of the pressure." On a lighter note, I am a junior in college, studying biochemistry and classics, with the goal of going to medical school. I have been doing Taekwondo since age 11, and I've also done a little Krav Maga and MMA in that time. I also love learning languages. So far I know Latin, and I am learning ASL (american sign language) and German. Next on my list is Japanese. I am a huge animal lover living on a farm with goats, cows, horses, donkeys, dogs, cats, etc. That's about all I have to share right now. Nice to meet you.
Hi there, and welcome to Empty Closets! You have overcome a major hurdle, accepting yourself. Self-acceptance is a start to being okay with who yourself, and being able to talk about your sexual orientation with others. Empty Closets can help you in feeling less stressed about it all, and becoming more comfortable with yourself. Welcome aboard!
Thank you all for the warm welcome. ---------- Post added 19th Oct 2012 at 01:22 PM ---------- I haven't really reached acceptance yet, but I'm at least closer than I was before. ---------- Post added 19th Oct 2012 at 01:25 PM ---------- Thanks. I remember orgo; it was a pain.
