Hi, my name is Sarah and I'll come right out and say that this is my first experience with a LGBTQ forum. I'm 29 and a bisexual female. I'm really into music and working with kids and split my time between two part time jobs as a nanny and a retail manager. I also volunteer in youth ministry and have been working with a couple different youth groups for about 15 years. I'm only out to a small handful of people, including two of my best friends and my mother, but besides that I'm very closed off about my orientation. Lately I've been feeling a bit stranded and alone as I don't have any lesbian/bisexual female friends, so it's been hard to find people that can relate and talk to me as I struggle with taking steps towards coming out. I have high anxiety as well which makes it extremely difficult to meet new people and step outside my comfort zone, so I'm hoping that having an online forum to talk to people will make things a little easier to start out with. I look forward to getting to know some new people and having some good conversations.
