Hi all, yet another new member here. I am 30 years old guy (boy do I feel old right now) from lovely Oslo, Norway, that just has found this forum. About 14-16 years ago I locked myself in my dark impenetrable tower (metaphorically speaking) to protect myself from my homophobic environment. Unfortunately, I have grown too accustomed to my dwelling and all those years have left their mark on me. So it is nice having found this forum with people I can actually relate to without being labeled weird, being judged or ridiculed for who I am.
*metaphorically speaking* As I take my +20 Rainbow AXE of Gayness and SMASH down your dark towers door. I yell out "come on out youngin'" says the warrior of the people of the rainbow, "I'm 42 just come out in September and there aint no reason to hide anymore" Welcome to the EC, :smilewave as you can tell we are a great bunch of peeps. Hey Bleak, I'm 31 and this year I finally unlocked the door to my own dark tower - it's a great feeling, and I hope you find the courage to wield your own key sometime soon. (I've just read that last sentence back and it looks soooo wrong :eek: but what the heck!). There is so much support on these forums from guys (and girls too) who have been through, and are going through, what we are going though. (*hug*) :welcome:

Nice to meet you, and welcome. I'm also 30, going to be 31 in a few months here, so don't worry about your age. I can definitely relate to the story of locking yourself in a dark tower to avoid the world, as I did the exact same thing for so very long. Leaving it behind is both the most exhilarating and scary thing I've ever done but it's been more than worth it for the way I feel in myself right now. You've found an amazing little piece of the web right here, and I hope you enjoy it.
