    I have spent the past year coming out to myself. I have known I was gay since I was nine years old. I have finally accepted who I am and I feel the need to reach out to the larger community. The process so far has been exhilarating and terrifying. I have come out to two other person so far and it is still pretty scary. I am hoping to find support and advice here at Empty Closets, it seems like a pretty special place.

    I have now been here at Empty Closets for one week. It has been a wonderful week. I am so grateful to have found such a warm and welcoming place. I am experiencing absolute joy at being able to openly discuss my sexuality and who I really am with such a supportive community. I can feel the strength and courage beginning to develop deep inside me. I know that I am going to be able to come out completely. Thank you all again for being here. I am so glad that I found you. OK, that is enough gushing. Sorry, I couldn't help myself.
